Organizational Certification
10-Step Initial Certification Process
A level 1 Organizational CDE Certification begins here. Individuals are not automatically credentialed by association with a certified organization. All individuals achieve their own CDE credential, independent of an organization's status, following the credentialing process described in the next section.
Step 1: Application submission with payment and documentation
Step 2: Background investigation commences
Step 3: Personal one-on-one meeting
Step 4: Provisional Mental Health/Background Investigation Clearance granted or denied
Step 5: Enrollment in Performance Mental Health Seminar
Step 6: Attendance and participation in 8-week Performance Mental Health Seminar (on-line)
Step 7: Exit exam Step 8 Provisional Certification granted for 6 month probation period upon Signatu
Step 9: Attestation of compliance at 6 month mark
Step 10: Certification granted for 1 year.
